Just over two years ago, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was playing a rough game during a torrential downpour of the white stuff, which would later be referred to as the “Snow Bowl.” Loyal Philly fans braved near white-out conditions as they watched rival Detroit Lion’s Johnson catch a pass near the sidelines. Once tackled, he gets a face full of snow in the powdery process. In case you missed the game, Philadelphia dominated the Lions on their snowy, home turf with a final score of 34-20.
Kinnick Crews Can’t Keep Up
In another football fail, this time-lapsed video shows several a crews of snow removal workers at Iowa’s Kinnick stadium struggling to keep up with a steady downpour. Despite their best efforts, Mother Nature wins out in the long run.
